A woman, Line, leaves her husband and baby in Hong Kong after catching him with their nanny, and moves back to her hometown in Denmark to start anew. She reconnects with her cousin Maja and joins a local moms group, where she receives support from the other mothers, including Bodil, who helps her with financial and emotional struggles. However, Maja becomes increasingly upset by Line's growing connections with the other moms, feeling like she's losing her friends. Line decides to file for divorce, seeking a fresh start and independence.
