In ancient Judea, 33 AD, Mary, a young woman from Magdala, rejects traditional gender roles and pursues a life of freedom. After rejecting a marriage proposal, her family arranges an exorcism, believing her to be possessed. Jesus, a healer, is consulted and shares his message of a kingdom of peace and love. Mary is captivated by Jesus' words and charisma, deciding to follow him despite her family's opposition. As she journeys with Jesus and his apostles, including Peter, she faces challenges and confrontation, ultimately changing the course of history.
