In 1875, a group of strangers break out a prisoner named Jack Mason from a Comanche Creek, Colorado jail, using him in a robbery before killing him to collect a high reward. The National Detective Agency learns the gang's tactics and sets a trap, jailing agent Bob Gifford for train robbery in Comanche Creek. The gang takes the bait, but Gifford catches the eye of Abbie, a beautiful saloon-keeper, before the gang can escape.
