Stranded in Chicago, Ken Clark takes a job as a sharp-shooter entertainer to earn enough money to return to Arizona. When he intervenes to stop a club bouncer from robbing a drunk man, he earns the man's gratitude. Later, the man receives a telegram about his partner's death and asks Ken to accompany him to Arizona to help his daughter, Kay, manage the ranch.
