The Yoshi family, a middle-class family, moves from the city to the suburbs, where the father, Kennesuke, works under his boss, Iwasaki. The two sons, Keiji and Ryoichi, face bullying from a group of boys, but befriend Kozou, a delivery boy, who helps them stand up to their tormentors.
