Break to Freedom background

Break to Freedom

The Great Escape of Allied prisoners in 1944 from a German POW camp is orchestrated through a clever ruse involving a fake prop named Albert, which distracts the guards and allows the prisoners to make a daring escape.

The prisoners of a German POW camp suspect there's a traitor among them after repeated escape attempts fail. An artist, Lt. Ainsworth, creates a fake prisoner model to replace an escapee, using a bath house as a decoy.
