Bonanza Bunny background

Bonanza Bunny

In "Rabbit Hood," Bugs Bunny finds himself in the midst of a Wild West adventure, clashing with the notorious outlaw Black Jack Shellac in a battle over a coveted cache of Klondike gold.

In 1896, Dawson, Alaska is the backdrop for Bugs' first confrontation with Black Jacque Shellaque, a ruthless French-accented villain. Bugs, carrying a bag of gold nuggets, walks into a saloon, unaware of Jacque's intentions to exploit the "rocks". The villain believes Bugs is trying to get rich, leading to a series of gags, including a blackjack game where Bugs substitutes the gold with gunpowder, causing chaos and hilarity.
