In the small town of Blue Gap, Arizona, three brothers - James, Jessie, and Jodie - form a band, the "Blue Gap Boy'z", with James as their manager despite his lack of musical talent. They hear about an opportunity to audition for a German producer and journey to Phoenix to compete. The brothers become caught up in the hype and consider "selling out" to gain an advantage and win a trip to Europe.
