In Italy, photographer Rick and his publisher Daniel Parks discover the perfect location to shoot Rick's horror photo-novel. The deserted castle appears ideal, but things take a turn when they find it occupied by former actor Travis Anderson. Despite initial annoyance, Travis allows them to use the castle, but warns them to stay out of the dungeons.
