Adopt a Highway

A former convict, Russ Millings, is released from prison after 20 years for possessing a small amount of marijuana. He struggles to adapt to a world that has changed beyond recognition, finding human contact terrifying. On parole and working at a burger joint, Russ's life is turned upside down when he discovers an abandoned baby in a dumpster. As he cares for the child, he begins to thaw and form connections with others, eventually embarking on a journey to rediscover his lost identity and reclaim his sense of self.
