Adam's Apples background

Adam's Apples

A troubled neo-Nazi, serving community service at a church, sparks tension with the fervently dedicated minister.

In a rural church, a priest named Ivan lives with a unique perspective, denying his own flaws and convinced he's in a war against Satan. The rectory serves as a halfway house for recently-paroled convicts, including Adam, a large and tough neo-Nazi who's initially baffled by Ivan's relentless optimism. As Adam settles in, he vows to destroy Ivan's faith and sets a personal goal to bake an apple pie, despite Ivan's initial refusal. However, the church's iconic apple tree faces a series of misfortunes, from crows to worms to lightning strikes.
