A bride, jilted by her unreliable fiancé, uses her lawyer as a substitute groom to secure a swift divorce, but as time passes, she begins to question if she made a mistake in letting him go.

A young woman's wedding plans are turned upside down when her fiancé fails to appear, hungover from a wild bachelor party. In a fit of independence, she decides to proceed with the ceremony, but with a twist: she asks her lawyer, Henry, to stand in for her missing groom. Initially intending to divorce her new "husband" as soon as possible, she finds herself caught off guard by Henry's genuine romantic feelings, which threaten to upend her plans.
