MY TRUE CRIME STORY is a one-hour true-crime docuseries featuring real people's firsthand accounts of headline-grabbing crimes. Each episode tells the story of ordinary individuals who commit scandalous criminal activities but ultimately find redemption through their experiences. The series opener, "Shawana King," shows how she started helping her family by turning her boyfriend's small-time credit card business into a multimillion-dollar enterprise. However, it all falls apart when she lands in prison. Other stories include international smuggling, million dollar jewelry heists, bank robbery, and drug trafficking cases throughout the eight-episode first season.
