The Superman television series consisted of four seasons. The first season, which aired from 1966 to 1967, was a 30-minute show featuring two Superman segments and one Superboy story. Seasons two and three, which aired in 1967 and 1968 respectively, were part of larger shows, with season two being part of The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure and season three being part of The Adventures of Batman. Both seasons two and three featured the same format of two Superman and one Superboy segments, with a mix of new and rerun episodes. The fourth and final season, which aired from 1969 to 1970, returned to a standalone 30-minute show and only featured previously aired episodes.
