A New York City detective arrives in Bedford, New York, to investigate a murder at a 20th high school reunion. The investigation takes the viewer back to 1986, where six close friends graduated from high school. The friends, each with their own ambitions and struggles, are revealed through a series of flashbacks. As the story unfolds, questions arise about which friend was murdered, who committed the crime, and why. The remaining friends seem to know more than they're letting on, and Detective Marjorino's connection to one or more of them is unclear.
