The show follows Ethan Morgan, a freshman who discovers his best friend Sarah is a vampire. Ethan, along with his friend Benny, learns that Sarah is a fledgling, who has not drunk human blood, and that a group of vampires led by Jesse, a powerful vampire, are planning to use a mysterious box called the Cubile Animus to trap the souls of teenagers and resurrect an evil vampire cult.
