Frank Sinatra rings in the new year at the luxurious Miramar Hotel in Miami Beach, where Ike Evans, the hotel's leader, must navigate the Mob, his complicated family, and a city in flux as Fidel Castro takes control of Cuba. By day, the hotel is a hub of entertainment, but at night, Miami Beach's darker side emerges, with dopers, dealers, strippers, gangsters, and law enforcement converging to enjoy the top nightclub acts. As racial tensions simmer beneath the surface, Ike must confront these challenges while global intrigue brews beneath his roof.
