Archaeologists Alex Langlands, Peter Ginn, and domestic historian Ruth Goodman work together to recreate a functioning Edwardian farm in Devon's Morwellham Quay. For a full year, they live on the farm, adopting a simpler but more challenging lifestyle from the early 20th century. With only tools and materials available at the time, they master various Edwardian farmer skills, including crop harvesting, livestock raising, mining, and fishing.
