A taxidermist obsessed with the origin of AIDS researches "Patient Zero", a gay flight attendant, with the assistance of his ghostly companion for a museum exhibit on contagious diseases.

In this peculiar film, the spirit of "Patient Zero", the supposed source of AIDS in Canada, reappears to reconnect with old acquaintances. Simultaneously, Sir Richard Burton, a Victorian explorer who sipped from the Fountain of Youth and now serves as the Chief Taxidermist at the Toronto Natural History Museum, strives to curate an AIDS exhibition.
