On the remote Scottish island of Todday, a sense of despair settles in as the wartime rationing of whisky begins to dwindle. However, when a cargo ship runs aground, the cunning islanders outsmart the hapless English Home Guard commander, Captain Waggett, and devise a plan to secretly stash away precious cases of whisky.
