Pat Boone plays a pop singer whose wife is about to divorce him, but their marital issues take a backseat when his infant son is kidnapped on the same night he starts a new job at a Los Angeles theater. As the police investigate, Boone's character is manipulated by the kidnappers, who threaten to kill him unless he follows their demands.
