A Syrian refugee, Khaled, sneaks onto a freighter bound for Helsinki, while a traveling salesman, Wikström, strikes it rich at a poker table and purchases a restaurant. When Khaled's asylum application is rejected, he's forced to live in hiding, until Wikström discovers him sleeping in his restaurant's yard and offers him a job and a place to stay.
