Two vagrants, Stanley and Oliver, are forced to leave town by a disgruntled Judge Beaumont. They stumble upon a lavish mansion, where they meet a friendly drunk who invites them to stay. Despite the drunk's inability to find his key, the boys manage to gain entry, only to discover a woman inside who faints upon seeing them. After reviving her with what they think is water, but is actually gin, the group becomes intoxicated. As the drunk realizes he's at the wrong house, he departs, leaving the vagrants to face the wrath of the mansion's true owner - Judge Beaumont himself.
