Vijay, a young man who has studied abroad, returns home to his industrialist father Viswanath. Radha, the family's personal secretary, has her hands full managing the family's various problems, including her own congenital heart condition. Vijay, who is accustomed to Western culture, shocks his traditional father by openly drinking with him. With no sense of responsibility, Vijay sets out to squander the family's wealth.
