The circus arrives in town, bringing with it Gracie the Fighting Kangaroo and her energetic youngster, Hippety Hopper. Hippety sneaks out of the tent and hops into a nearby yard, where Sylvester Cat is boasting to his son Junior about his former mousing prowess. Determined to prove he still has what it takes, Sylvester must engage in a hilarious battle with the playful Hippety, whom he and Junior mistakenly perceive as a giant mouse.
