In the aftermath of World War II, the Japanese occupation of the Philippines uncovers a secret stash of millions of dollars in silver dumped into Manila Bay by Gen. MacArthur to prevent it from falling into enemy hands. Two American U.S. Navy deep-sea divers, taken prisoner by the Japanese, are coerced into diving to retrieve the sunken treasure.
