In 1899, a photographer captured the journey from Manhattan to Brooklyn by mounting a camera on a trolley crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, creating a 3-minute film. Decades later, avant-garde filmmaker Bill Morrison reworked this footage, recombining it in a split-screen format for a new and unique cinematic experience.
