The film revolves around the day Rui and Vani first crossed paths, at a unique wedding ceremony where they were both marrying other partners. Vani was set to marry Sérgio, and Rui would tie the knot with Marta in the same church, immediately following Vani's nuptials. As they wait for the ceremony to begin, they strike up a conversation, leading to a series of unexpected complications.
