Vijay Sethupathi's character Prem Kumar is about to get married, but on the eve of his wedding, he gets injured while playing cricket with friends. After the game, Prem develops short-term memory loss, forgetting his marriage and only remembering his life till college. His friends, including Bagavathi, Balaji, and Saras, try to keep his condition a secret and plan to help him recover his memory before the wedding, enacting a series of comedic events to keep him from discovering the truth.
