Three entrepreneurial women launch a lunch wagon business, only to face fierce opposition from their rival, Mr. Schmeckler, whose illegal activities are threatened by their presence. As Schmeckler schemes to undermine their venture, the women find themselves entangled in romantic relationships with construction workers and rock musicians. Meanwhile, a pair of hapless diamond thieves further complicate the situation for both Schmeckler and the women.
