The sequel to "Desperate Teenage Lovedolls" sees the return of the Lovedolls, who have been revived after their untimely demise. The story follows Patch Kelley, who has transformed into Patch Christ, the leader of an acid-damaged religious cult. She rescues Kitty Karryall from a life of self-destruction, and the two are joined by a roster of iconic punk and rock bands, including Redd Kross, Sonic Youth, Meat Puppets, and Dead Kennedys.
