In modern-day India, a stark contrast exists between the capital city of New Delhi and a rural village just 80 kilometers away. While New Delhi appears to be a cosmopolitan hub, it hides a dark underbelly of crimes against women and corruption. In the village, Kajarya, a woman in her early thirties, has a peculiar role in the community, secretly murdering unwanted girl infants under the guise of religion.
