A young girl is ostracized from her Zambian community and forced into a life of exploitation, first as a captive in a witches' camp, then as a hired witch, and finally as a spectacle for curious tourists.
An 8-year-old girl named Shula is wrongly accused of witchcraft after a minor incident in her village. She's found guilty, taken away, and sent to a witch camp, where she's forced to adapt to a new life.
