In the mythical land of Rainbow Valley, Missitucky, USA, Finian McLongeran, an Irishman with his own unique belief system, moves with his daughter Sharon in search of riches. He believes that burying a crock of gold will multiply, and plans to return it to the leprechauns once he's wealthy. Unbeknownst to him, the leprechauns can no longer grant wishes and are turning mortal.
