In 1932, Japanese-occupied Manchuria, corrupt army leaders seek to dominate karate dojos for personal gain. Meanwhile, a dojo's master passes away, leaving his three pupils to decide who deserves his Kuroobi. After burying their master, they're forced to join the Japanese army, embarking on divergent paths that test their understanding of martial arts and ultimately reunite them.

Three karate students, once trained by a master, go their separate ways after joining the army, only to reunite and fight against corruption while preserving their martial arts heritage.
