Bhoothnath Returns follows Bhoothnath's story as he returns to the ghost community, where he faces humiliation and condemnation for being bullied by a child on Earth. Determined to redeem himself, Bhoothnath sets out to scare a group of kids, but instead finds an unlikely friend in Akhrot, a slum child who can see him. Together, they join forces to take on a corrupt politician, Bhau, who is poised to win a local election. As the Lok Sabha elections approach, Bhoothnath and Akhrot must overcome their fears and fight for justice in a world where the common man is often powerless against corruption.
