Zara Montalvo, a half-Spanish, half-American woman, returns to her California home only to witness her parents' brutal murder by Sheriff Jim Harding and his gang over their hacienda and gold. She assumes a new identity, posing as Lola Belmont, an American tourist from Detroit.

Zara Montalvo, a half-Spanish, half-American woman, seeks revenge against the sheriff and his gang who murdered her parents for their California hacienda and gold. Disguising herself as Lola Belmont, she joins forces with Joaquin Murietta, posing as Carlos Del Rio, to form a gang that steals back stolen gold and restores it to its rightful owners, with the help of militia leader Dan Hinsdale.
