A young Hebrew boy, Joseph, is sold into slavery in Egypt, where he faces a foreign culture and people who don't know the God of Abraham. Despite his circumstances, Joseph holds onto the lessons he learned from his father Jacob and earns respect by interpreting the dreams of his prison companions. News of his talent reaches Pharaoh, who is struggling to interpret a puzzling dream, and Joseph is called to the palace. Remaining true to his God, Joseph interprets the dream and earns favor with Pharaoh, eventually becoming second in command in Egypt.
