In southern Iran, a young couple, Hibat and Feresteh, live in a small village with a passion for democracy. Despite the risks, they actively fight against the oppressive regimes of the Shah and Ayatollah Khomeini. Forced to flee in 1984, they embark on a perilous journey with their son, eventually finding refuge in France. After settling in the Île-de-France region, they work to integrate into French society, becoming involved in their local community.
