A renowned classical composer, Gregory Pavan, wins over Professor Klezkowski by offering royalties to his alma mater, allowing students to perform at his next recording. However, the school's blind cellist, Maryann Lowery, is initially resistant due to her disdain for Gregory's music and perceived diva-like behavior.
