In 2015, a desperate mother, Raquel Crespo, from Bilbao, Spain, sets out to recover her daughter Alba. To achieve this, she agrees to a corrupt social services deal, offering her parents' house as collateral for a 35,000 EUR loan. However, just as the bank manager, Elías, is about to finalize the transaction, a robbery takes place, and Raquel becomes a hostage along with several others. As the robbers, Jonan and Lola, try to escape, they are confronted by the police, led by Carlos Garay and Eva Domínguez. Raquel uses her intelligence to send a secret key to the police, but things become complicated as the robbers' leader, Jonan, becomes increasingly unstable.
