Soul Train

Since its inception in 1971, "Soul Train" has played host to the African-American community's "American Bandstand," showcasing urban artists and their chart-topping hits while remaining an integral part of celebrating beautiful dancers and their dance moves. Despite evolving tastes and styles over time, the program remains a space for reflecting on how times have changed, including slightly risqué attire that reflects shifting norms.
