Ryo Saeba, a freelance assassin residing in Tokyo's bustling streets, accepts missions that involve seductive targets at any cost.
Ryô Saeba, known as the "City Hunter," specializes in private investigations involving attractive women. When one of his associates, Hideyuki Makimura, is murdered, Ryô must take care of Hideyuki's sister, Kaori, who becomes his new partner. Despite this change, Kaori remains much more jealous and frequently beats him with a giant hammer.
