Beecham House background

Beecham House

A glimpse into the lives of people who once lived in an affluent mansion during the early 19th century in Delhi.

In 1795, former British soldier John Beecham arrives at his new mansion in Delhi with Indian servants and a mixed-race baby. After leaving the British East India Company, he hopes to obtain a trading license from the Emperor but faces opposition from a French General who has won favor with the royal family. As John adapts to life in the new city, guests of honor and unexpected visitors arrive at his home, adding layers of personal and political complications. The mystery surrounding John's past, the identity of his baby's mother, and why he is in Delhi are gradually revealed throughout the first season as secrets are unveiled and relationships form. Although the series ended without a second season renewal, fans eagerly await further adventures for this intriguing period drama.
