Last Christmas, disaster struck when Jamie Weathers got into a tragic car wreck after a party. The only witness to the accident was his girlfriend, Ellie Fischer, who is still grieving over him, one year later. Ellie takes a stroll through her neighborhood, when she excessively consumes alcohol, causing her to black out. She wakes up to the sight of a strange figure wearing a plastic Santa mask. Confused, Ellie asks the figure who he is, only for him to reveal himself as Jamie.
