Maurice Russell, a former great actor, lives in London in his twilight years. While his peers fondly remember him, younger generations are unfamiliar with his work. Ian invites his young great-niece Jessie to stay with him, serving as his caregiver and companion. However, Jessie's stay is not what Ian envisioned, as she lacks cooking skills, drinks his alcohol, and has unrealistic life ambitions.
