A former yakuza returns to LA to purchase cocaine, planning to use it for his last score and leave the criminal life to marry his long-suffering girlfriend. However, his plan is derailed when he's betrayed, his girlfriend is shot, and he loses the drugs. He decides to stay in LA, retrieve the cocaine, and seek revenge, while navigating a quest for justice with an unlikely partner, a petty thief helping a young woman get back to Japan.
