In the town of Antioch, a former priest named Travis Jordan loses his faith in God after his wife's murder three years prior. However, a series of inexplicable miracles occur, including a car accident survivor, a resurrected dog, a paraplegic's sudden ability to walk, and the healing of a wounded woman and her father with a brain tumor. Amidst these events, three mysterious men in black are seen, and a man named Brandon Nichols claims to be Jesus Christ. While the townspeople worship Brandon, Travis and Morgan Elliot, a newcomer and veterinarian, sense that something is amiss and begin to investigate, ultimately uncovering that evil has taken possession of the townspeople.
