In the upcoming movie, Tony's first day at a high-tech building takes an unexpected turn when he locks himself out of his apartment. Using his new security pass, a credit card-like device, he gains re-entry, but it becomes damaged in the process. Chaos ensues when the pass malfunctions at work, causing the building's computer system to misidentify Tony as a threat, leading to a series of catastrophic events as the building itself appears to be out to get him.
