Three druggists, an inventor, and his girlfriend travel through time to ancient Greece, where they are enslaved by an evil tyrant. The inventor, Schuyler, becomes a muscleman with strength comparable to Hercules after being forced to row a galley. He is then promoted as Hercules for a series of physical contests, using his strength and tranquilizers to succeed. However, his impersonation causes trouble when the real Hercules discovers the deception.
